Magnolia wood is commonly used for saya sheathes, because of its ability to withstand water. The breathable Magnolia wood prevent corrosion. Magnolia wood continues to been used for Samurai sword sheaths, so this age-old wisdom is still in use today. The Saya sheath comes with a wooden pin which secures the knife in place.
This sheath is designed for knives we carry, but due to variances in manufacturing, the sheath may not always fit as expected. We make sure the knife and sheath match when they are purchased together before shipping.
If you purchase the sheath on its own, we can’t guarantee that it will fit other knives, and we do not accept any exchanges or returns on sheathes or edge guards.
