These optional wheels can be easily and simply retrofitted to most slashers. If you choose to run rear wheels it is recommended 4ft and 5ft slashers have at least 1 wheel fitted in the center whilst the 6ft units should have dual rear wheels.
Adding rear wheels to your slasher reduces the opportunities for the slasher to bottom out on the terrain which can damage parts and blunt blades. Rear wheels are popular for inexperienced operators such as shared farming with multiple drivers. They are also good for people operating in areas where the terrain is unknown and varies day to day. With rear wheels fitted the slasher is more forgiving and will ultimately last longer considering the slasher skids are not dragging on the ground. Rear wheels are also great for when turning tight corners on uneven ground and help protect the lawn for gouging.
