These heavy duty braked hand winches can raise and lower heavy loads with great control. Common uses include mounting to a davit for raising and lowering boats from the water. The automatic pressure loading brake means the load is instantly held even when the handle is released. The fear of runaway is no more.
Sailing boats can have their adjustable keels raise or lowered with great control and ease.
These winches are supplied bare without any rope or cable fitted. The winch is suitable for use with both steel cable or a synthetic rope alternative.
